Never played that one before.

After a few games this is the best that I could do.

I love this game

I had the hardest time getting a clean picture using an old school tv. That light blue is hard to snap. The flash worked better than no flash.

Here are some tips. I recorded this a month ago to help out some friends.
I will also add, that when the game gets super fast and super hard, the shark is so much harder to kill. I had to change the way i killed him. I had to take a quick nibble then run away, wait for him to change directions and come back at you, and do the same, one nibble and run.

Thanks Dude!

That's a lot of extra life you have there.
Did I see right ... you were getting an extra life every time you hit the shark tale?

The manual says you get an extra life for every Shark, Crab or Lobster you kill.
And there is one more way to get an extra life. Normally for every 1,000 points you grow a size, but after you get to the biggest size (size 5) you can't grow anymore so it will then award you with a free life for every 1,000 after.

So you can an obscene amount of lives like Astrosmash. But the game gets so difficult after a while it is easy to lose those lives 1 after another.

But you do get more points for nibbling the Sharks tale at size 5 so that may explain how i got a couple extra lives so quick in my video when i nibbled his tale.

Is it me or does the shark get tougher after each time you pummel it down?? It comes back angry lol.

Later in the game, I just go right for the shark and kill it's ass. NO MERCY~
I got this game 3 weeks ago... fun game.

You can eat the lobster only when it's jumping up ?

That is correct.

The manual says you can kill the Lobster and Crabs when they are falling. But i'm almost 100% positive you can kill them on the way up too. Just make sure your a size 4 or 5.

Well, i tried to do something different. I was gonna attempt to spice up the competition and post a video submission (not even sure if that's allowed). I was gonna try and improve on my score but i didn't make it.

But if you want to watch it anyway here it is. If anything maybe it will get more people interested in playing. Or it could help people out.

Gave it a play last night: 43,350
I just keep looping around the shark because he turns each time you bite him.

Sharks don't like me after this one!

92,050

93,550

This may be my last score, as after the "90ks" point mark, the Shark won't let you
bite it's tail more then once! It whips around no matter how fast you are... it's like double as fast as it
was at 80,000. After 90ks the synth noise when the shark appears, is almost non-stop... now you know it's cruising too damn fast.

If you make it to about 89,000... give up on the killing of the shark, and
just try to nibble it's tail once in a long while, and search for small fish.

The up and down technique to kill the sharks is the way to go, do it the whole game basically...and I thought maybe I "discovered" this technique by messing around one day.
Nope!!

But rgw825 has some fine tips... and I watched the video he made, though I already knew most of it. This game like Beauty & Beast I became very good at, in a very short time.

The killing of the crab/lobster was new to me, and so was getting a "free-life" after each
1,000 points, when the fish is fully grown. So thanks for informing on that treat.

REMEMBER "SEAHORSES" ARE DELISIOUS. LOL.

103,200

I got lucky and got like over 50 extra lives early in the game. After i hit 100,000 i recorded the last few minutes of the game. It got obscenely difficult. if you thought the Shark was fast at 90,000 you ain't seen nothing yet lol. It may impossible to kill him after 100,000.

Oh goodie... I'm not gonna get passed 100,000. Someone give me a break, I only owned/played this game since middle of March 2010. LOL.
But cparsley is inching ever closer at 79,000... give it a week he'll get there.

90,000 is too fast to keep killing the shark but at 100,000 I see it's not even possible to nibble the tail anymore.

TWIN GALAXIES scores are 110,000 for 1st and 2nd..
and 3rd is like 92,400.
