Well I know this ended last night but I am loving the attempts anyway! I never played this game before this HSC entry even though I've had it in my collections for a LONG time. This is addictive!

Got my score doubled once I found a pattern to eating a shark that worked for me. Hey I'm happy!

EDIT: Ooh... I thought it ended last night(14 days from OP) but it says 18th! One more day to crack the scores!

EDIT 2: OH YEAH! 57,550 baby! I hit my personal "zone" on that one!

Got to 104400, I'm unable to kill the skark about 90k

Damn. You guys have surpassed my skill. I'm just gonna have to settle with my score. I worked too hard today and my arm is killing me. I also would like to know your new secrets.

Bar just skyrocketed! Good god, 124,000....? Even with killing sharks at 100k's... they still whip you at the start if you're in the wrong place or position... sheesh! SHARK-ME!

Now I just realized, Cparsley will take 1st, in every game we play... from now on.

114,750 Is my best so far. blahhh I had about 80 lives at the 90ks mark. But I made it to 112,000
with only 60 lives at the 90k point. This is a score, I didn't do today, so I should try again,
to see if I can hit 120,000 or even just 115,000.

I dunno if this is a secret at 100ks but the way I kill shark after that is, get the sharks FIN, after you hit it once, don't go back imediately he will "whip around", just go up on the directional pad once or twice, (just enough to clear the shark above or below) you will see the shark whip left right left,.... when it whips left again dive down or up and get that FIN! Nab the FIN, only once at a time... as it may be slow, but it's effective... you might also get a few FREE nibbles on the shark while it gets stuck against you whippin' too fast onto you..., keep watching the shark, he uses (often) patterns when trying to nab you.... and try killing sharky by using the UP/DOWN technique as usual, but not after each time the shark moves back... BUT every OTHER time the shark flies backward to try to eat you...

PS, I cannot record a score for Twin Galaxies because I don't have recorder that can do that.

That's pretty close to my move at 100k+ but use the ENTIRE top to bottom grid to allow the shark to whip, whip, and whip again and time your move to his tail when his head is facing you, as he'll turn to the tail as you hit the shark point.

BTW, I was at about 95 lives at 90k on this attempt I did. I got to find a camera so I can do a tape of the game (as for some stupid reason I can't seem to get Nostalgia to record it directly.

I gotta give us ALL a great hand, I believe this game has had the most posts (entries) of all the HSC games thus far, and if one of us could actually record a game, we have a new Twin Galaxies World Record here at AtariAge (or would that be IntellivisionAge?)

Oh I ran outta time, I thought I had till Monday at 1 am. I did the two week math,
and it would end on sunday night. Oh well... I'll try to get to 120,000, anyhoo'.

Congrats to everybody. I'm glad i could help with some tips, then you guys showed me some tips. lol

Can't wait to see what were playing next. Hopefully it's something i own. Not too fond of emulation.
