What CD+G karaoke discs work w/ the Jag CD? Is there a definitive list floating around out there? There's a store GOOB here & I thought I'd try some...if they work!

Hello? Anyone?

I know someone was working on a list of CD+G CDs that work with the Jag, but I cannot remember the link!

I always assumed that if it was a cd+g disc, it would work, period. Are there different types of CD+G disks? I think all CD+G karaoke discs will work, just like all regular music cd's will work...

OK, does anyone OWN some that they KNOW work w/ the Jag CD? Names of companies, manufacturers, etc. would help- I don't want to buy a bunch if I have no use for them...

If you want to try the "karaoke" feature, you can just go out and buy a karaoke CD, there are surely disks with your favourite music.

But you can go further and try a program to create your own karaoke CDs, so you can do it everything yourself

try this: www.dartpro.com

Well, in a strange way, you're doing me the favor right back, as you know, I lost my copy and forgot what it was called (not that that would have stopped me from finding another copy; How many Sega published CD+G's could there be?), now that I've got the name again, though, and that's IS the one I had, the name comes back to me..., I'll be on the look out for it again myself.

To the person who wrote the question originally: I suppose I was a bit wishy-washy with my answer before, let me refraise; ALL kareoke CD+G disks will work, if you find a Kareoke disc, it will work! Those "lists" are only for music cd titles that were published in the CD+G format, because they have some graphics of some type on the discs for you to access if you have a compatible player (like the Jagcd). ANY kareoke OR ANYTHING that has CD+G stamped on it WILL work! No matter who published it! As you can see above, even SEGA CD+G's created for the SegaCD will work!
