Hey guys,

I just got a Super Pong console C-140 today and I was wondering if the Atari 2600's 9 volt adapter will work with it. It takes 6 volts in battery power so I was wondering if anyone knows if it has a 7805 voltage regulator to step down the 2600's adapter from 9 volts to 5.5v .. I could take it apart to look but I figured I'd give the forums a shot first to see if any knows or has schematics... I don't want to plug and pray with the adapter...

Thanks..

Hi linuxfanman,

The Atari Super Pong C-140 take 6V DC (200mA) as input voltage adaptor. But for your question
about if it has a 7805, the answer is "NO". See for yourself (attachement file).

Hope this help you out, have fun! :)

Seems that the GIF file has a problem, so here's the schematic in JPG instead. :)
