I need some help emulating the Sharp X68000
I can't get some games to start on the emulators WINX68K highspeed V095 and XM6 by PI.
The games are Dig Dug, Pac Man, Mario Bros, Famicom Pinball, and Famicom Galaga. I didn't try the other Famicom games.
The games load up and go into demo/attract mode. I tryed pressing a whole bunch of buttons and i still couldn't get them to start.
On the emulator WINX68K, Super Hang On and Space Invaders look pretty good but on the emulator XM6 the graphics are all messed up. What settings do i need to change on XM6 to make the graphics better?
One more question, how would i go about playing games that have between 3 to 7 disks?
It looks like i can only load 2 disks at a time.
Any help would be much appreciated. thanks! :)

Try the other x68k emulator called XM6 - its should run what win68k wont.

I have also been wondering just how to play those 'famicom' ports (particularly Galaga). On my real x68k i have been able to play temporarily with the joystick but its flaky. so consider this a bump. i did read that certain games came with joypad/stick adapters, so you could use the consoles native pad with the x68k - maybe there was something similar used on these ports?? if there are any Japanese speakers reading this can you do a search and see if you can find anything out?

There was an adaptor from capcom, that let you use your cps arcades sticks on the x68000, as well as your snes and megadrive/genesis pads.
The x68000 is a dream machine for me, but at the moment i can only enjoy its games via emulation. Anyone know how to change resolution on xm6 emulator?.
Thanks in advance!!!
