Has anyone used the Afterglow controller?

I'm in need of purchasing another controller and was browsing tonight when I noticed The Afterglow. Being a clear controller with light's inside didn't impress me. But what did catch my eye was that it had the analog stick layout very similar to the 360 analog layout, not side-by-side like the normal PS3 controller. The Afterglow is priced at $25 and has rumble, which make it an attractive purchase. One BIG downside (at least for me), though, was that it isn't cordless.

Questions: Anyone know how long the cord is on it? Has anyone here used one and if so, would recommend a purchase of it?

it's super comfortable, has the layout you want and it has an awesome silicone coating on it. it's a pleasure to use.
