Finally started this today.
What a great start.
I'll admit I'm not very far but am already smiling at the witty humor and awesome (and familiar) level design.

This game has one of the more satisfying endings in recent memory.

Loving it. The puzzles are really fun. This is a rare game where every few minutes you smile at your own cleverness and a real sense of accomplishment comes over you. Let GLaDOS do what she wishes, I can outsmart that bitch! LOL

BTW GLaDOS certainly is a vindictive AI isn't she. She calls me fat? She hasn't looked in the mirror lately.
She's like 2 or 3 tons over weight!!

Finished this today.
As great as it was, I would probably agree with anyone who said the shortness of the single player game bothered them and it wasn't a $60 game.
The fact the game can be bought 2 weeks after it's release for $35 ($34.99 on Amazon right now) suggest Valve knew it also.
I am glad I got that $5 off and the $20 credit.
That's not to say the game wasn't good. It was indeed, very, very good. Highly recommend it to fans of the original. A $34.99 game it is for sure!

I need to play the original Portal. I checked Gamestop but the closest store that has the ps3 version is seventy miles away. Orange Box has gotten pretty rare since Portal 2 came out.

You could play it on your PC/Mac - via Steam Orange Box is $19.99 while Portal by itself is $9.99.

I like the graphics on the computer better, but like the controls on the PS3 better as movement via analog stick feels more accurate than the digital control provided by the keys WASD.

You can also buy Portal on Live or PSN (Well not right now you can't buy anything off PSN)I think it's like $10 or $15.

Just read that there is new Portal 2 DLC available called "Peer Review"
If you own the title, I'd go snag it now! My understanding is it's decent and best of all FREE!

More Portal 2 news.
The next piece of DLC (which apparently is slated for next year) for this game will include a level editor!

http://www.xbox360ac...-Announced.html

Now that might be really interesting. In particular if we can play each others Portal levels!
