I'm not sure if i can post this here or not, And if not Moderator please feel free to move it. I was looking on eBay and i found a River Patrol PAL Prototype. Its the "T" style prototyping PCB, it claims its the only known River Patrol PAL version known to exist. I'm not sure if that's true of not. It's not my auction and i can't afford to drop 2000 dollars on it. but if anyone here is interested here it is

The sellers the real deal.

BTW, does anyone know what happened to that PAL River Patrol that was on eBay? It wasn't a proto, but I'm just wondering if that guy ever sold it or not.

Never heard from it again.

It's listed in our database, though:

The picture thats in the database IS the same item that is listed on eBay. down to the writing at the top of the cart. So the listing your taking about IS the one up. Just look at even the staining pattern on the hand written label.

There are two different carts pictured in the Atarimania entry ;)

I can see the confusion here. The Atarimania entry does have pictures of the Marco's proto which is now currently on eBay. But if you look at the other pictures there you'll see this one:

This is the cart Rom is talking about. It is a PAL River Raid that was for sale on eBay months ago, and has since vanished. River Raid is a very rare cart in PAL format. I'm only aware of Marco's proto, and this particular released cart ever surfacing.

Why was I thinking River Raid? Clearly the game in question is Planet Patrol.
