Looking to trade some of my protos for protos that I don't own. Here they are:

Hoppin' Mad (unreleased)
Tecmo World Wrestling
Bad News Baseball

The games are all tested and work perfectly, and the two released games are on long proto dev boards. this is one of two known copies of Hoppin' Mad, and I own the other, so this is pretty much you're only shot at getting it if you're interested. This game is incomplete on the third level, just as my other copy is, so it is my belief that this is as far as development ever got for this title. This specific ROM is also not released.

I can take extra pics for people who are actually interested.

I'm really only looking for trades for NES protos that I don't have. I'm interested in anything that is NOT on the list below as I already own the following prototypes:

- Abadox -- Loose Natsume EPROMs
- Airball -- Unreleased Unique/undistributed build
- Alpha Mission

- Archon

You ought to start an NES Protos website modeled after Tempest's site...

That's the game plan, though somewhere down the line. Tempest set the bar pretty friggin' high though, I'd settle for something half as informative.

My pipe dream is that some day int he distant future, Video Game history will be relevant enough to warrant a full museum to it. I'd love to have an exhibit there if the day ever comes :)

I'm also noticing that I didn't put this in the marketplace. Though obviously it belongs there, I'm probably more likely to find a taker in this subforum.

Wasn't Hoppin' Maad completed and released in limited edition twice, though?

Released by me once, limited to 90 carts, and repros of the version that we released (with added enemies on the 3rd level and a few odds and ends) are still available on a few repro sites. The ROM on this cart is not publicly available and would still make this considerably more desirable than most other NES protos.

These are still available if anyone is interested in trading, including Bad News Baseball ;)
