Have a chance to get one of these real cheap but doesn't have the ac adapter. Tried to search the web but couldn't find any info. Does anyone know if there is a compatable power supply. Saw a mention of a usb charger but not much info. Does anyone here know about this and can help me out with some info about how to charge the battery with either an ac adapter or the usb thing? Thanks in advance for any help.Posted Image

the going rate on the a/c adapters is like $3.
eBay Auction -- Item Number: 220628823114

The usb ones are kind of nice too. I even have a couple with auto-retracting cords.

Generally when buying a micro, its weaknesses are that the faceplates scratch without some form screen protector, and it's buttons' rubber pads eventually get sloppy.

Thanks for the info. Know of any places that would sell the usb cable?

ebay has some standard ones, but they cost more than the ac plug.

Hmmm... I didn't know you could charge the Micro with USB. I might need to pick up the cable to charge mine that way. :)

It looks like a DS cable, but it's wider (and that's messed up  )

Anyhow, I got a universal one, it can plug into a wall, or a lighter, and it has a PSP sized plug on a retractable cord, and a few adaptors to make it work with the DS, Micro, and GBAsp.

Did a quick search on Amazon, didn't find mine, but there are several Micro only chargers for 3+$

Thanks for your help on this. Too bad but it seems like you have to mail order instead of going to a store.

That one sucks! I got it when I bought my PSP and it's way too short.

I got one from DealExtreme.com some time back for $3.00. Don't know if they have them anymore, but mine works perfectly.

That was my biggest complaint about it too, I think the cord is literally only like 3 feet or something.....though I've never pulled it out that far as I'm afraid I'd break the rewind mech. I actually got mine cause I got a PSP with no power supply, and saw this and thought "why not" It's worked OK so far otherwise though.

Thanks for everyone's help. Can't thank you enough. But the story has a happy ending. I found a universal dc adapter at a radio shack marked clearance for $2!!!! So I bought it and charged up the gameboy micro and it works! And in playing with it, I love this thing.Posted Image
