Hi Everyone,

I decided to put up a VERY basic web page to show everyone pics of my Jaguar collection. Those of you who know me also know I have put together one of the largest collections of rare and prototype Jaguar items around. Take a look and I hope you enjoy the pics.

I hope you have DSL/Cable!

WOW!!!

Your collection is great. I never fail to be impressed by a Jaguar Kiosk.

That is quite the collection. You might want to make an option so those of us with broadband can see more than 5 pix at once. You also might want to make the contact a form rather than putting your e-mail in a link so spammers can't capture your address (as if they already haven't).

Finally, in the guestbook you might want to make the e-mail optional. Again, since I don't want crawlers finding my e-mail, I put in none@none.com.

Thanks Eric, good suggestions, I'll get to work on it. It's pretty basic, I threw it together last night just because I finally got that "wild hair" you know where...... Hope others are enjoying the pics....

I knew you had a lot of stuff from observing what you have purchased from me and also seeing you buying other items, but that's quite an impressive collection. I'm going to have to come up with a way to display all my stuff like that too.

Good work.

@jaysmith: OMG :P It is nice to see that all of this amazing stuff is under one roof. So that's where the test unit went to. I tapped out at $200 on eBay. Nice page layout also.

Does the blue VR helmet provide a better picture than the red one? How did you convince (forgot who) to part with his unit? Again, wow.

@thunderbird: first you have to get all that stuff out to NYC ;) . I exchanged a few mails with Don about the JagDapter. I grew up where it was manufactured and knew the store owner, so it was interesting to see something previously unknown and made by him pop up almost unannounced. It looks like this is the only JagDapter out there.

Congrats, can't wait to see some more pics!

Yep, was I that ended up with that test fixture.....The Red VR I just recently purchased from Curt Vendel. It was formerly owned by Ted Rusniak. The Blue VR I've had for a while now and purchased it from Clint Thompson. I started pestering Clint years ago and told him if he ever decided to sell to give me first shot. Since he had shared it with the community at Jagfest and Midwest Classic he decided it was time for it to enjoy a new home (plus he needed a new MAC). I'm sure the $$$$ helped convince them though.... :)

The Blue unit does provide a clearer picture than the red unit. It also seems to work better in general. It is heavier though which makes it uncomfortable after a while.

Glad you enjoyed the pics!

Sweet, thanks for the info! :) I remember about the test unit that it allowed the use of external inputs for the VLM. Any luck with this? Also, any chance of you putting up some video of the blue unit in action?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Haven't had a chance to fiddle much with the test unit. Plugged it in and ran some tests....the Jaguar 2 has become my current project. I wanna get it up and running. I don't have a digital video camera, but if I pick one up, you bet I'll take some live video of it. There is some video of the VR being demonstrated. I'll dig up the URL for ya....

You make me sick! (lol)

Well, at least now I have extra motivation to make my millions so I can buy all that off you hehe, I *WANT* the VR, all of it, allways have.

Seriously tho, grats and loads of wootage to getting it all.

Oh and nice design on the website, I wish more ppl did slideshows, meta-refresh is too often overlooked in galleries.

Thanks Nick. Hurry up and make those millions, I could use just one and would be happy to sell it all for that. :)

Glad you liked the site as well. I threw it together pretty quick, just wanted to get the pics out there for the Jag fans to enjoy.
