I've been using a 9vdc/300ma center positive power supply for a cordless phone on mine with no issues. I found the flashback 2 at a thrift with no power supply so I hunted around and found the phone's power supply that fit the jack.

I'm not sure what the rating for the actual power supply would be.

Actual rating is 200mA on mine, so you are okay.

Funny, I looked in both the FB2 and FB2+ and the FB2 has a power supply that says Atlinks, not Atari. Hmm...

i wired a 9 volt battery connection into mine. easier than the cord. been playing for days on 4 AA batteries in an adapter with a 9v connector on top. it also worked with a 9v battery, but i wanted to use up some extra AA i have. uses less electric and generates less heat. the wall adapter is allways on and makes heat.

so go scrap a 9v connector and wires. or find a connector that fits the FB and just jam the wires onto a 9v and tape it.

Im gonna make a hole for the 9v battery inside the FB2 case..
