I got mine for 10 bucks on ebay without the box.
When I got it, it was in the box. Kinda beat up a little, but who cares?

I believe that Best Electronics still has them in stock. $32 for a brand new one in box. Email them to verify, though.

Another one went up for buy it now at $25 - $55 seems steep as I thought :)

$32 brand new aint too bad - so what can I do with the trackball on the 5200 besides paly Missle Command better?

A. Yes, New out of the box U$D 45. New in the Atari Factory box U$D 79.

Wow, it looks like they raised the prices! It's interesting that the catalog isn't updated to show that. :(

Yes, raised prices not only on 5200 stuff... Until september, a reconditioned Jaguar CD Player w/out box and games was at US$79, now is at US$135.

$55 for a Trakball is ridiculous. About $25 of that cost is for the box. Try Best Electronics or www.4jays.com.
