Didn't know Activision still had the rights to Imagic's library.

Seems like there was some discussion of this when it was first released around here and the consensus was to avoid this at all cost.

Edit - Here's that thread.

I could be wrong.... and Cimerians can confirm as he has the game.... but I thought I read that the 2600 games (Atlantis, KaBoom, etc) were just mini-games that lasted like 30 seconds or a minute or something like that.

Yeah, I got duped into buying it because of the Atari 2600 Activision games advert on the box and not one game is enjoyable for more than 5 minutes....by anyone in my house. My kid and even family friend's that have tried it.

I sold it to Gamestop because it would never be played again and got half my money back. It's totally not worth it in my opinion, not for even 5 bucks. There are tons of indie and wiiware games that are leaps and bounds better than this effort. Just because the ad says "Remade Activision games" doesn't mean its good. Don't support that kind of stuff. Stay away.

Go get Williams Pinball Classics or even the dreadful Carnvival games for "arcade style" memories or even Data East collection. It's too bad the wii doesn't have a decent Atari collection or remake collection, unless you homebrew of course.

Curt's Taco Bell remakes of Atari games are how it should be done. :)

Thanks a lot, that trailer was followed automatically by one for "Barbie and the Three Musketeers"! Now I have to race out to buy a Wii as soon as the stores open.
