Just a quick note to say that Atari User has launched.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed for the first issue.

We've still got a lot of work to do on the website but issue 1 is now ready.

would you consider sending me a complementary copy so I can write up a review for Classic Video Gamer Magazine?
I'm sort of the "arnie katz" of CVGM.
Arnie was well known to fanzine editors because he reviewed zines that people sent him and hence gave the fanzine
free publicity.
I even did that with my own fanzine because I actually enjoyed reading them and reviewing them.

Interesting idea.  Want to talk about some additional exposure?  Just let me know, we can work something out.  Also, welcome to the world of online publishing.

let me say this about Arnie's contribution to Fanzines,
he helped people like me who just got starting in fandom by just giving short reviews
of fanzines.
my own fanzine got at least 30 subscribers and for every 1 we loose we gain 2 back.
I just like reading fanzines and reviewing them. and if it helps the fanzine so be it.

So long as you live and breath the legend and spirit of the famous Mr. Katz Dan, that the main thing

Perhaps even borrow some of his quotes (so long as you give him the credit) i am sure he would'nt mind being made famous all over again and introduced to a new generation of gamers and game fanbois
