OldSchoolRetroGamer
Is there any video of this game in action? If you checked my Youtube channel (late) last year, I've posted (for a short period of time) a video of a WIP version of Smurf Challenge. Ah I must of missed that thanks. Ikrananka
Just received my copy of Retro Gamer magazine (Issue 85 - http://www.retrogamer.net/) yesterday and was blown away to find a review of Smurf Challenge in the Homebrew section (page 100). The review covers a full page with lots of screenshots. The great thing is the conclusion gives the game a whopping score of 91% and a "Retro Gamer Sizzler" award. Congratulations youki Now I can't wait to get the game and play it with my Smurf Challenge controller Ooohhh could you scan and post that? Sorry, no - the magazine is still in print and will be available in back issues for some time. If you want to see the article can I suggest either buying a paper copy of the mag or buying the download of the mag available from their website. It's a great mag and well worth the price. Congratulations youki Now I can't wait to get the game and play it with my Smurf Challenge controller Thanks. I have been very suprised by the score in fact. a score is very subjective. Ghost'n Zombie got 81% in that magazine. Smurf challenge 91% . Personnally i would prefer GnZ. (in term of game play). But i'm very proud of that review! :lust: Now, i'm looking foward that J-F release the carts!

King_Salamon
So this will make it 3 Smurf titles for the Colecovision? Wow... that's like Intellivision and Tron! Ok... I'll get this one too. My son and my niece thought the original Smurf was fun so this one will be just as entertaining I'm sure!

OldSchoolRetroGamer
REVIEW SCAN - No I refuse to post the entire image AGAIN - I hate when people do that over and over lol! Thanks so much for that. Personally, I did not think 1 scan of a single review would be too big of a deal but I did not want to push the issue. I have bought several single issues in the past and even the compilation DVD's Vol 1 and 2 but overall as great as it is a magazine it is a bit crazy the cost to receive here in Canada. I appreciate that scan very much, thanks for your time and efforts!

I passed up on what I thought was the chance because I didn't have a ColecoVision at the time, but I just purchased one and now am ready to hit the skids with the homebrews on the CV! Murph74
You guys are making it very tough on the budget for a guy who just wants to PLAY the games! lol Here's to hoping that some of the other games I've had to pass on come out on an author-authorized (seems redundant, but I don't think it is!) ROM sooner than later!
