Poll closes Sunday 10th October 10am BST

I'm thinking of running a bonus round after this game so get your thinking caps on and post any suggestions here!

Some thoughts: Probably play 7 Games through November, maybe with a loose theme, ideally not the big games that would make a good regular HSC game

How about picking one game from each genre/style? A possible example would be:

Maze
Shooter
Space
Racing
Platform
Scrolling
Basic

Ya know? Something along those lines. That way, there's something being represented in each category. Just my thoughts.

So if Crossfire doesn't win the current HSC vote you want a bonus round of Crossfire, Crossfire, Crossfire, Crossfire, Crossfire and Crossfire, not forgetting the mono version of Crossfire

Just to clarify the bonus round will be after this game wot we are voting on ere!

wow! I despise all of these games

voted for Gorf because it was an OS-B only game which will give me an excuse to fire up the 800.

Pretty sure I have a copy that works ok on my XE but the 800 is still cool to use

Let's have some suggestions from you either here for the bonus round or here on the games list

I like deteacher's idea might add a puzzle and pinball game to the list

Okay, I voted for Gorf as well because it may use Paddles? I would like to try out some Paddle-based game.

Okay, I voted for Gorf as well because it may use Paddles? I would like to try out some Paddle-based game.

Don't think it uses paddles, checkout paddles games topic I posted!

no, cart version only... must be played on a 400 or 800, with original cart for score to qualify :'D

I could go for some type-ins (as long as I don't have to type them in).

Dodge Racer by Synapse. Has it been played here? It's almost a type-in. It's written in Basic, and I think it was Synapse's first commercial release.

Orph, do you have a collection of Page 6 type-ins?

There are also plenty of great games in the APX collection such as:

Lord of the Orb (I recently discovered this one, and it's pretty fun)

All of the Type ins can be found on the issue disks at Page6.org (but I do have them all on Floppy too)

APX is another great Idea!

Good idea Fres, we'll have a round where you have to type the game in (without the get it right typo checksum) and see if anyone can get one to work within 2 weeks

I don't like any of these games. Someday, can we have a Ballblazer competition? We can start playing against the computer at Droid 1 and if you win, you go to Droid 2 - and so on. Time should be set at 3:00.

You take a screenshot, showing the final score at the highest level you got to. If multiple people win on the final level, place will be determined by the time that you won. (higher time gets higher place)

Of course, it's possible for cheaters (I'm looking at you, bountybob! just kidding ) to set the time above 3:00, but we'll just have to rely on honesty. (yeah, right)
