I just read a story about what the Wii version of Call of Duty: Black Op's will include:

- Has the full single-player storyline
- Huge maps
- 5v5 multiplayer
- All maps and game modes are available
- Wager Matches and Contracts modes included
- Online co-op supported through Black Ops’ new Combat Training mode
- Zombies mode
- Headset support for all online modes
- Classic Controller Pro support
- Allies system: Invite recent players to be your allies for text messaging, game invites, more without exchanging codes
- More player customization in Create a Class
- Enhanced party privacy options

Between this game and the upcoming Conduit 2, the Wii is finally beginning to catch up with all the features that are standard in the PS3 and Xbox360 version of a FPS game.

PRO CONTROLLER SUPPORT!!!! YES!!!!

The FPS genre is a dying breed. Or will be soon.

The same thing happened with Pong games, Pac-man style games, Fighting games, and mascot platformers years before. It had a huge boost in popularity because of one (or two) major release, and then the hype died down.

In a few years no one will care about if the Wii had a good FPS or not.

Rants aside, I probably will pick up Conduit 2 (because I did love the first one), and maybe Black-Ops. Maybe.

Well, I bought Black Op's and the Headbanger Headset and must say that I am extremely happy with both.

I haven't touched the campaign at all but did get online and try "Training Mode" where you battle bot's on the same map's that multiplayer takes place. Really, really slick for getting the feel of the game, a layout of the maps, and tweaking your controls.

I then got into 4 different multiplayer matches and had a blast! No waiting at all to get into a game and the maps were well designed. One map has people... mannequin's actually as they never move..... standing around which makes trying to sort out the enemy a little more challenging. I used the Pro Controller and it worked beautifully. Only a few people were using either the headset or WiiSpeak but I got into several great "adult" conversations with no racist or sexual gender remarks heard. Was really a great time.

The Headbanger is a nice set up. Yes, its wired but the 10ft cable presented no problem for my gaming room set up. Sound was excellent, and the controls for muting the mike and adjusting the volume made it a snap to use. It was comfortable to wear but then I only played for an hour or so and will have to see how it feels after a long session.

As I said, so far I'm extremely happy with both the game, the multiplayer experience, and the headset and highly recommend them for anyone interested in FPS games.

The map with the mannequin's is called nuketown, its something like what the government set up to test the destructive power of a nuke back in the day.

Yes, that's it! First thing I thought of when I entered that map was the sequence from the last Indiana Jones movie.
