Yeah, definitely a game where you benefit from playing slow. You don't get any bonuses for rushing through the levels as far as I know--only for collecting extra pods and passing through the bonus world objects.

Man, I was looking at the old Cybermorph HSC thread. I got almost all the pods, found all the bonus worlds and spamed a few easy kills on some of the planets to get over a million. Some of the people in the old thread hit the 2 million+ mark!! That would require some major patience. I had Cybermorph enter my dreams the night I hit a million. lol Two million is REALLY hardcore.

Yeah that was my issue... I got bored... if I had the time and attention span I could easily have turned in a MUCH higher score...

Oh well, off to see how crappy I am at checkered flag

Yeah, I don't know.. My issue was that I died, lol. But seriously, it does take a good chunk of time to get a high score in this game.

Well the score I can prove is 257600. The photo below is what I took before the wife asked me to go to the store and I paused it. I was up to over 444000 something with 3 lives left before my power flickered and everything went dead. My Jag + JagCD combo is just too powerful for my home's circuit breakers :D But seriously, I am mad :x Since this is for participation, it's Thanksgiving and it took a long time for me to get to where I was I am done with this round (that I missed anyways).

I find this game really fun. Sure there is no music, horrible pop up, Skylar can get annoying and the color is blah, but it was a free roaming 3d pack in game from the mid 90's. It's a rocking game considering. To me it is a must own for the Jag. Can't wait to try Battlemorph.

Cybermorph definitely gets more crap than it deserves. It's not a game that is for everyone (not great considering it was a pack-in), but it's solid for its day. I especially enjoyed it quite a bit when I was playing it for this HSC round (It was the first time I gave it a serious effort and managed to make it farther than the first set of worlds). Battlemorph is a huge step above it though, so that one will blow you away if you really enjoyed Cybermorph.
