I thought I knew arcade stuff pretty well and I have never even heard of this game? Can you post a pic?

It's esentially an A8 computer in there with program dongles?

"Max-a-Flex"... sounds like an early Neo*Geo or Data East Deco concept. Since the game is a "multicade" of sorts, may as well just have your own sideart made up that you can stick on yourself.

I saw that website awhile ago. It looks interesting. Good luck on the art.

Hey, that's my site. lol

It never came as a kit to convert other cabinets so I don't think you cold get side art separately. The game kits you could get only included the game and the marquee and were all made to work only with this cabinet. So your only option is to either find another cabinet with better side art, or reproduce the artwork yourself.

I guess you could scan it with a scanner and then piece it together using PhotoShop and then print it out on a commercial printer.

That's an awesome idea -- having an arcade cabinet powered by a console. Very smart and more practical than buying one with a dedicated board that only plays ONE game.

I think I will build a SNES or NES-based one. Put some of these tools to use. And then for cabinet art, I can just have some graphics from some of the best games like Ms. Pac-Man, Mario, Galaga, etc..
