Congratulations! What's really cool is you have the lower front artwork. It looks pristine.

But what about that ultra-rare reverse-Galaga to the left of the machine? That's gotta be something, too, right?

In Soviet Russia arcade, Agalag and Elgea play YOU! Noxxaz has yet to be developed, though, I see.

Congrats on getting Galaga up and running....and congrats on if I remember right getting all your machines for a hell of a steal, making me jealous! :) Aren't you concerned that those Space Invaders will shoot at some point in time, thus completely destroying your back wall there?

Yeah, the 3 in the pic I have a total of $400 invested. They are just giving stuff away in my area right now, just scored a working Asteroids Deluxe cabaret for little over $100 also, don't quite have a perfect spot for it yet but when I do I'll post some pics

Nice! I'm actually working on my first cabinet which is Galga. Sans the cab for probably atleast a year :P. I've got a PCB and ordered an original control panel last week. It's a start! Next I plan to go for the wiring harness/psu and then a CRT to make sure the PCB even works.

Thanks man. I was having trouble making up my mind on that one since I had never played it and it was a pretty far drive to pick up. Once I found out it was basically Moon Cresta and he accepted my offer of $100 it was a no-brainer.

Yeah, I found that place a couple weeks ago. AFTER I bought a control panel from quarterarcade.com and a busted PCB from ebay that I'm hoping to teach myself how to fix. If it's worth the effort. If I can't get it working, KLOV, here I come!
The control panel will be here Tuesday and I'm most excited about having it around. Total motivation for me.
If all goes well, I'd love to do a Burgertime next.

Especially if it's the EM version!
When I was pretty young, from the age of 7 to 10 or so my Dad would bring me with to one of his side-jobs which was snow removal and lawn care for a Church. The main thing was to teach me how to work, and then get paid for my work but as young as I was there was a lot of stuff I couldn't help with which resulted in down time where I would just sit and stare like kids do. I apreciate him teaching me this work ethic but at the time I wasn't crazy about it. One day he said he wanted to show me something, in the attic of this Church was a small rec room, nothing fancy, had an air hockey/foosball table and some chairs scattered around. In the corner was a broken down EM racer collecting dust but near the back was a nice pinball machine, a Charlies Angels pinball machine. I had never played pinball. I knew what they were though and was excited to play. What felt like 5 minutes must have been a few hours and I remember telling my Dad I was going to save all my money and buy one of them someday. He laughed and said something to the effect of good luck or yeah right, can't quite remember. Anyways, I don't think I would have been the pinball fan I am now if not for the years and thousands and thousands of games I played on that Charlies Angels. What used to be a chore turned into excitement knowing that when I was done, I got to play pinball. I continued to follow and support pinball and as the better fancier machines like Twilight Zone and Addams family came out, I forgot about the game I played that started it all. 25+ years later I am bringing CA home, I wonder if my Dad will remember our conversation, I finally got one....

Wow, I love Afterburner and really want to start my own "ghetto-cade" as well. Can you post more pictures of your arcade? I'm going to keep checking Craigslist in my area. I don't have a big budget, but I could swing $100 for some random machine :D

Yeah, I can't wait. I need to find a monitor/chassis and the power supply stuff and I can start troubleshooting the board I got that supposedly doesn't work.
