When the floating hearts (or whatever) get all the way to the bottom of the screen, they have to be scooped up quick or its bye bye Popeye. I'm guessing that's what happened.

I got this feeling that, at the end of my long climb to a relatively high score, someone is going to raise the bar completely out of reach. But that's okay. I'm still having fun with this one.

I swear I posted this but it disappeared. Maybe not. Anyway, what is the "115,200" bug?

From Digital Press:

"Get 8 or more hearts, and then die. Once you start your next life, go RIGHT off the ledge, then LEFT to the spinach. Brutus should be right behind you. Get the spinach and hit Brutus and your score will become 115,120! If you do it again (on the 4th screen) your score will become 114,110."

I got to the ship the second time around and the bottles returned to the original slow speed. Is that supposed to happen? As a result, I just bested my score by over 15K. I don't want to post it if that was merely a bug that wasn't supposed to happen. Can someone confirm if this is supposed to happen? If not, I will not submit this score.

I been playing this game wrong, I didn't know those [] squares gave you invinsible power... to bowl over Brutus.

I also never seen the third screen untill today. Not bad!

Bored at work, so I hooked a system up to the projector and got some time in. Nothing beats playing Atari on a big projection screen. Got a big score to boot: 98,100!



Seems like the bottles move slow all the time on the ship level, so if you can get past the 4th and 5th level, you get a break on level 6.

I finished up getting 50,000-something pretty consistently. I never broke through to Deteacher's rarified air, but it was still a pretty good (and interesting) week.

Not bad at all, considering I only played this game the final day or two of the weeks challenge. Had not played this game much at all... but learned quick.
