Hello. I have been playing Gordo 106. When I first played this game, I thought it was very poor. With repeated plays, however, the subtle nuances grew on me. I have so far reached level 6-1 and can't seem to get into the exit. There is also a search-light beam that kills me before I can figure out where to go. I tried to dispatch the inspector dude with the flashlight and this didn't seem to work. Any ideas?

Probably one of the most underrated Lynx games ever! I totally agree Gordo 106 grows on you. It's a great platformer. The problem is people don't usually give it enough time before making their judgement. I played throw the whole game but could'nt beat the last boss, the N.Human manager. But I can't remember what you should to with that search-light beam. No on-off switch?

Thanks for the replies :). I haven't really tried looking for an on/off switch, but that is a very good idea (since that is how you turn off the saw in a previous level). I think most critics played gordo 106 and probably fell in the dungeon and the challenge turned them off. The trick is NOT to fall in the dungeons!! The outside world is much easier. But at least falling in a dungeon gives you another chance to live when most games you lose a life by falling in a whole.

Great game!! I love the eccentric graphic sets and oddball characters.

Update: I finally beat level 6-1 in Gordo. I can now get to the last stage (but have yet to beat it). If anyone is curious, you do NOT have to dispatch the scientist with the flashlight. You have to stand on the platform above him and do a running start and drop off the ledge while holding left to clear the man-holes to get to the exit. I sometimes have a hard time double tapping the joypad to start running. This can be frustrating at times!!

Update: I FINALLY beat Gordo 106!! The last stage (6-3) there is NO exit. You must DEFEAT the inspector holding the flashlight. The ending is rather good, really, all things considered. There are fireworks, rabbits, and puppies. What more could a person want in an ending? :)

Another cool thing about this game is that there are LOTS of music tracks for a lynx game. Very under-rated. My only complaint really is that it is kinda boring when you fall into a man-hole and have to find your way out.

I am so jazzed....
