I read about it on JagCube(when it was online ;) ), and seems very good to me.

It's not ever going to be released without Core's permission, which isn't ever going to be given. Sorry.

The impression I got was that it was smuggled out of Core illegally by someone working there and they'd be in an extremely difficult situation if they started turning up everywhere (look at what happened with Caves of Fear - freely traded up to the point when people started selling them online). Sorry.

You'll have to come to JFUK too :)

Ah man it just isn't fare that you have so much stuff :D

How else would I be able to confirm the functionality of my network designs???

Besides, it was built up over a long period of time by picking and choosing ebay auctions. I don't know why so few people have only one jaguar when a new one can be had by careful bidding for $10 plus shipping. I always have a backup of every system I own, in case one goes bad.

You know, it must be awesome to say, "Oh rats, I just ran out of Battlesphere carts on my network, oh, no problem, I'll just MAKE ANOTHER ONE!" T-bird, that pic is ruling. Very cool to see all those babies running. I'm like you, I think I have about 10 Jaguars. I can't resist those BARGAINS!

It's sad to know that Core will never give rights to release it..... but thanks to tell me it.

I'd like to be to JFUK, but I don't think I will have time - and money - for it: I need to make a choice for my holidays, and I'm planning a trip to L.A. and Las Vegas :)

Tony,

If you go to Vegas are you planning on attending CGE and Jagfest? That would be cool. I'm hoping to make it down that way, would be cool to meet you.

Jason, for an "odd coincidence" ;) I will be in Vegas during the CGE (originally, the holiday was planned a week earlier than CGE, but I persuaded the friend that will be with me), and I'm quite sure to be at the JagFest :D So we, and all guys (and gals!) from AA, could meet from real!

Landing a kiosk is still quite good ;)

Shame you have no monitor to go with it, those RGB ones were really quite good. You could always substitute a 14" European TV and a SCART cable though :D

Awesome man! Your Kiosk is in GREAT shape. If you look closely at the pics on my site, you'll notice a beautiful Atari front on my earlier pics and then 2 big white scratches on it later on. My kids knocked over a stool in the game room and guess what it hit..... ARGH!!!!

Nice collection though.

Hey Jayson - what did you use for the cart holder on the front of the kiosk? Mine was missing the front when I got it and have been thinking about making some proper storage in there ever since. Right now I've just got my games all stacked up in various crates and containers, and it would be nice to have it all good and neat.

What's the deal with the cart rack on the front of some Kiosks? Was that on the ones in stores like best-buy and such? I have not seen that before that I can recall.

Well, only the bottom two rows of the keypad are cut off, and I'm sure you know what the bottom of the Fuji looks like, but yeah, I can post a close-up of it tomorrow. Glad you like it! :D You don't know what I had to go through to get that picture from T2K and size it properly and get it properly lamenated! It was quite a few hours work! I also added some additional "framwork" inside the controller to make the top of the case more rigid, it had a tendency to push in to easily and the keypad buttons would sometimes stick under it. I also weighted the knob so it feels as solid as an arcade rotary. But overall, JediJeff's rotary is of high quality and good workmanship.

Yes, I kind of figured how it looked. Just didn't want to miss any details that might have remained hidden. I'll be watching for that close-up. 8)

I thought about detailing mine, but haven't had time. That's why I was so intrigued by yours! I'll get it done one day, though. :)

You were right about your rotary, very cool :) Nice to see my cable in pride of place too :)

I also like your arcade stick :D

Actually, I've been thinking about grabbing some buttons and a stick from Happ and running wild...they're quite cheap at the moment. Mine would have to be a complete monster though...I was thinking of making the top ouf of a polished granite offcut from the local kitchen supplier :D That would be sweet, if possibly a little sweaty ;) No problems with rigidity there :D It's also nice because I'd only need a 4-way joystick (same as the pad) which are even cheaper.

Question: if I connected an HD15 sockets pins to all the populated lines of the cable, could I then plug a second pad into it and use it as a mirror of the main buttons? It'd be good for 'fiddly bits' where more control is required than is possible with a stick, and it would also work for the numeric pad. Just like the passthrough Atari envisaged, in fact; though I don't know if a solution this trivial would work. Iwould test it but I don't have any HD15 sockets immediately available :)

Anyway, great collection Gunstar, I'll try and return your flash cart safe and sound :)

Jason[/quote]

It is indeed an added item. Just four pieces of wood screwed together, sanded, finished black and screwed onto the front from the back of the front panel with a couple of screws. Easily removed if I want to take it back to original, but currently holds about 40 carts for easy playing.

There is a monitor in it. Not the original, it was dead, but a 13" composite monitor. Works real well.
