I think the white high-gloss finish more closely matches Wii. :ponder:

So, after much frustration- I finally got my white Jaguar working just fine!
I sawed the posts with an exacto knife. And the I put crazy glue on the bottom of the posts, and one or two dabs of glue on the metal (yes I know this prob wasn't a great idea) Just to add extra support from movement.

There is no wobble or floating now, my jag powers on and off with ease.

One funny thing I noticed is that my homemade s-video cable doesn't work on it now lol
But it works on my other jag. The regular AV cables work though, so I am happy with that.

My White Jag running Snowboarding (afterall, gotta keep with the snow theme/white theme):

Help!!

I insltalled my jag guts into the white case and relocated the standoffs as noted here. My on/off switch behaves in a flaky manner. It seems to be very finicky about the distance between the switch and the board.

Any suggestions? I am thinking about usign a plastic shim now.

If he says "Quality" one more time I may have to hunt him down and beat him! :D

Not sure I agree with the statement that the inside of the jag get's pretty hot.

One thing I am interested to know, is the embossed Fuji still present between the joypad ports on the white cases?

I sent the seller on eBay a query, and here is his response:

I HAVE THEM STILL AVAILABLE, THE PRICE IS 25.00 EA. FOR ONE AND 2 OR MORE 20.00EA.
SEND ME A PAYPAL PAYMENT OR A CHECK AND I CAN SHIP TO YOU.
FOR SHIPPING GIVE ME AN ADDRESS SO I CAN FIGURE THE COSTS

I've been looking for a Jaguar power pad (one of the more grey looking ones) to more closely match the white Jaguar. So far however, no luck finding one that is not $70 or more.

For me that would mean a jaguar painted a single colour :) (and then it would probably be patchy! :D )

Personally I like to give my white Jag a nickname. Atari2600 black is known as "Vader".. So I would like to call the white Jaguar the "Stormtrooper Jag"

Guess what? "Due to popular demand...", a new batch is on eBay! Finally got to snag one for myself, and at a perfect time too--the Jag I have right now is pretty beat up and could use a re-casing! :)

Got mine today! :)

All in all the process of switching the casing wasn't too bad. I did have to sand down the power button area (it would get stuck), and I also took Jag_Slave's advice from an earlier post and chopped off the two tiny front posts inside the housing and moved them to where they normally are on a stock Jag (to keep the motherboard at the controller port end from moving much). So far so good! I spent about 45 minutes with Pinball Fantasies, with no problems. It works well, and it looks cool to boot! :)

but storm troopers are idiots! I rather call the white jaguar the "White Power Jag" LOL afterall probably most people who care about the jag are white anyway lol... but kidding aside the white case makes it look like a prototype. oh and because these white cases came about because of dentistry we should think of a funny name related to that. Lets see.. Atari Jaguar Dentist Edition, LOL, Dental Cam Jag, 64 bitE Atari Jaguar, Doctor Jaguar,
