Holy crap Batman! That was an awesome score. The Burgertime cart is easily worth the total you paid.

I thought so. There's a pretty interesting thread on AA about the rarity of this cart.

Yes, I almost added a "...sketchy" to the end of my link text. :D The lack of additional pictures is also troubling. But for someone willing to gamble, and rely on PayPal having their back...

I'm not going to bid on this one. What's the chance that someone who has just registered on eBay sells a Spiker?

I guess selling Spiker was the very reason why he registered on ebay... Anyway, the price reached so far is already out of by budget so I'll sadly stay out of this :_( and just get some popcorn to watch the show :dunce:

I looks like the box is damaged at the bottom next to the barcode?

Thanks for bringing this scam to light, here is the message I just sent that seller:

Quote

Sorry buddy, but this item is far from "Factory Sealed".

This is the most blatant form of deceptive listing I've seen on eBay in a long time.

Kindly correct this blatant lie or you will be reported to eBay.

Lol! Nope, my wife wouldn't let me sell her shoe collection to fund the purchase. :)

Just got a reply from this seller:

Quote

Very sorry, that was a mistake. The picture shows the items outside the box. I'll issue you a full refund if you like.

Not too bad, overall it's in pretty good shape I'd say. It's just the whole first time seller thing. He probably would have been smarter to sell some other cheaper games first to get some feedback before listing this one.

Well, it was so obvious that I'm sure the seller was in good faith here and it was just a mistake. Besides, she even offered to give you a full refund without you even buying the item! That's even more amazing than posting a pic of a cart out of its box saying it's factory sealed! ;)

Thin Ice (cart only) for less than $10.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 320904491477

And what's up with the 12 pictures for a 5.99 game? He obviously has too much time on his hands ...

Not really a nice one. The bottom flaps are torn.

Ok, that seemed totally minor to me. I guess condition really isn't that big a deal to me. In my eyes and limited budget condition is a secondary concern.
