Okay...so the reason Tigervision carts do not fit in a 7800 is because of the pegs in the cart to open the dust cover on the 2600 units. These pegs on the Tigervision carts extend out to the edge of the cart. Basically these pegs are too long. If you take an Xacto blade/knife/equivalent...etc...and carefully cut off about a CM from these pegs...you will should be able to fit the cart in far enough for the PCB to actually make good contact with the Cart slot on the 7800. Also by just trimming the pegs back a bit and not completely breaking them off, you will be able to use the cart in an actual 4 or 6 switcher unit still.

The cart is still a mighty tight fit physically...but with the pegs shortened you should be able to shove it in far enough now to play a tigervision game on a 7800.

Hope this helps everyone...and we need to thank Atrarius Maximus for the excellent condition Miner 2049er cart to find this out with...(Your carts are in the mail...) :)

Should I ever get a Tigervision cart, I'll keep this in mind.

I had to do the same thing a few years ago to my Miner cart to get it to fit- a finger nail clipper will work too, and only clip a little at a time, if you're afraid of cutting off too much
