Unlike Epic Yarn, this Kirby game is being made by the original creators of Kirby, HAL Laboratories.

This was announced on Nintendo's official (Japanese) website the 28th of January.

From what you can see in the 36 second video, Kirby appears to be going back to his roots in spirit of the Kirby's Adventure/ Dreamland series.

Ironically, I was talking with a buddy of mine ON the 28th about all of the modern re-boots of classic series. I told him I thought Epic Yarn was creative, but it wasn't what I was hoping for, and that I would love if they did a reboot of Adventure/ Dreamland. Then I find the video the next day, cool!

Nice.. the original 2D Kirby games are awesome, if a little on the easy side of things.

Oh yeah, excited for this. It looks like the awesome 4-player game they shelved on the gamecube, then on the wii, in order to pinch off that horrible yarn "game". I love me some Kirby... yarn-themed remakes of Barney's Hide-and-Seek where you can't die, no matter how hard you try... not so much.

I loved Yarn it was perfect and not too hard for most kids when I wanted to play with my kid.

This one may be harder but I'm still going to get it. Kirby rocks.

As a graphical demonstration, sure. But it's not a game.
