When I said sample I didn't mean a whole issue, but more a selection of single pages perhaps 6, perhaps the 1st page of an article from an issue, so that people could see the formatting of the magazine, and see what the content is like, but not actually get a huge amount of the actual content. I have seen this done in past before.

Well thank you for your insight, personal opinions and going through the java script.

That kind of thing, yeah. Although I'd wrap that up and stick it on your site for potential future customers. You could perhaps go the next step and have a 'peek inside' like Amazon for your issues showing the 1st few pages, Editorial, contents etc and 1 or 2 pages to whet the appetite.
