Long story short, I got a Lynx I system from ebay and it doesnt work. However the system is in pretty good shape. So, I'm looking to get a beat up but well working Lynx I and moving the guts into this nice shell.

I noticed, while looking around the internet, 2 different versions of the Lynx 1. I see one that has a d-pad that is a nice cross (that is the kind I got from ebay) and the other has a round d-pad.

So my question is, are the insides different? If I get one with a round d-pad can I move the whole insides over to my case that is the cross type d-pad?

While I'm posting I might as well ask.

Anyone have a beat up but good working Lynx I with a cross type d-pad for sale?

The insides are pretty much the same and you can swap them over, I have done it.

And when you are done, you can use the dead one as a snowboard!
