Last night I was playing Koffi.

For some reason, I decided to get my "best" mint controller out of the closet. This controller is the type with the low profile rubber boot around the joystick shaft. I started playing Koffi with it and realized that it had a totaly different feel than the normal "beater" high boot joysticks I use.

The low boot joysticks seem very loose in center but very tight on the extreme diagonals. The high boot joysticks have a more uniform feel through out the range of movement.

I found Koffi to be better with the low boot type, but Haunted House 3D to be better with the high boot type.

Or, maybe im just crazy and over annalize things. :-)

What type of stock Atari joysticks do you people prefer?

*waits for all the I use my WICO replies..... I'll take the stock stick over a WICO any day.*

Well, none of my controllers work very well, but I use my one with the extra rubber around the joystick.
