Ax,
At the top of the Atariage Toolbar--- second selection from the right, "Chat"

It takes you to an IP chat and you can chat with whomever is on there at the time. =)

OHHH, yeah, that has been broken for a while. :(

I was like, wait a minute, you guys chat with your TI? :D I've got fond memories of doing that with my Adam back in the day.

We can "sort of" chat with our TI... we have a BBS that some of us dial in to... The Hidden Reef, it's called. =) Very nice BBS, and the last of its kind for the TI-99/4a.

You can sign in via thekeep.net

It's a telnet application run by Greg McGill, or "arcadeshopper" on here. You can access it via any telnet client and it's a very nice BBS on it's own.

It has a function to "dialout" to The Hidden Reef--- Greg is a fantastic BBS host and an excellent contributor to our community.

You know, we could also set up and IRC channel. There are JavaScript-based clients these days so those who don't have an ICR client installed (or want to go through the hassle) can just use their browser. The char room here on A.A. is fine too, but it may not be used enough for the administrators to fix it (assuming it is still broken.)

I think Tursi should develop a TCP/IP stack for the TI and.....

wait... this has been beat to death already. =)
