Hi, I couldn't stand it and got back into starting a Lynx collection again - "for my sons"... ;)

But one lynx has a bad scratched screen cover, and a second has a better cover, but the down-right diagonal movement on the control pad sticks. I wanted to replace the bad faceplate on the good lynx with the good faceplate on the bad lynx. I only see one screw in the battery compartment though - these are Lynx II's.

Can anyone tell me how to open up the cases? I don't want to screw something up by cracking the case while trying to open them...

Thanks,
Sean

The screws on the Lynx II are under the rubber grips. You have to pull them off to see the screws.

I think you might be able to take the screen cover off without opening the Lynx. I think its just clipped on at the top and bottom, although I haven't tried.
