That is funny! I've got to say I think the 7800's version stands right up there with the best of them. I distinctly recall back in the day thinking that the 2600 version was "arcade perfect". I'm alarmed at how bad it is, I played it so much in the day... maybe it was just that much better than Pac-Man 2600...
I'm also thrown by how awful the 5200 game is, so slow and stuttering! I love the 5200 version of Pac-Man, what the hey happened?

My favorite version for simply how funny it is - the Lynx version. I've never had a Lynx, but this entertains me greatly. Thanks for posting, Roadrunner!

What I can't believe is I was on the way to doing MUCH better. I had 35,000 before I lost my first life. Lost my second life at 35,430! Straight downhill from that point.

My best on real hardware so far: 57840

I noticed that playing this on emulator seems to be much easier for me (got a much higher score after the first try), but I will resist Controller is really important on this one!

I can't begin to describe the extent to which I suck at this game. I like it, but I'm clueless as to how to play it. Now that that's off my chest, I can go back to trying to break 30K
