Pooyan & Jungle Hunt

Rules:

• Pooyan - Anyone scoring 300K+ will receive *10* points. The winner is the person scoring the most after rounds 1,2 and the first bonus round (in 1 man) and will score 12 points.
  
• Jungle Hunt - Play on Beginner (standard HSC scoring).
  
• Tips for both games on Post #41
  
• If you don't have a game, play any other game for 2pts

also, if i may suggest... you make a place holder post on #2... and then keep current tally of places there instead of throughout the thread...

just make an empty list of places, and then populate as played like you normally do...

Sure they're not your daughters?! Sounds like a good tag team, stick them in TNA

I considered this but doing things this way makes it less likely I miss any scores

Sometimes I have to act for the good of the colony (like what I do when I play mule and sell the mechtrons a measly bit of food at a very reasonable price (anything over ~200) So it wasn't a clean win, more of a dirty poo let's move along briskly

Both games are good enough for a full two weeks play (possibly Oils Well was borderline)... J.H. goes into the next regular vote, round 5 will be a special round of some sort... like to keep things interesting (especially so I can catch up with deteacher... off to check the records for all the games he did badly at )

That's not the official video. I tryed to post it, but embedding was disabled so i posted a different video.

OK OK the game is too easy for the better players, I lost the will at about level 20... so here's what I'm proposing... Anyone scoring 300K plus is declared a joint winner and will each receive *10* points. The erm real winner will be the person scoring the most after rounds 1,2 and the first bonus round (in 1 man) and will score 12 points.



Pooyan would be better if it had different patterns and stopped dishing out extra men after 100K - maybe someone could code the latter They could have made more use of the glass balloons and make them take more hits

I'm working on rolling the rack counter (I'm up to rack 95, using save states.) I've noticed that the rack counter becomes a little garbled starting at rack 90. I'll finish up past 99 tonight and see what (if anything happens.)

I guess I have something new to shoot for, now (sharpening up my arrows.)

Improved on my high 3-round score: 66,300!



I can honestly say I didn't hang out on any of the levels. I just managed to hit lots of multi-wolf combos, apples and free-floating balloons.

I'm not one usually to be negative but this game SUCKS! I find it really difficult to garner enough interest to plod on through the levels, think I'm gonna stick with my earlier score (come back Oil's Well/BBSB, all is forgiven!!)
