I picked up Crystal Mines II over the weekend. When I try to play I get the 1st intro screen. Sometimes it hangs right there and I can't press a button or anything. It's stuck. Most of the time I press A or B and the screen goes blank and then the Lynx doesn't do anything. It hangs on the blank screen.
I tried cleaning the cart contacts. I also tried the game in all 4 of my Lynx systems. All with the same results.
So it looks like I have a bad cart. In all my years playing games never met a cart that couldn't be cleaning to working status. Anyone run across a bad Lynx cart like I have here?

Yes I have. A Lynx Casino and a Scrapyard Dog that both did this, never got them working and sold them along with a faulty Lynx.

Yes, I've had this happen to me, to be precise, with four cards
Gates of Zendocon, Rampage, Lemmings and Slime World.

Did you try to clean the contacts with a rubber? I did that with a board that made problems, and i got it working.

I got a Pit-Fighter once that didn't even get up to the intro screen. And because I was trying to collect all the non-Telegames games at the time, I was angry. But luckily it didn't cost very much.

I recently received from Ebay Rampage and Xenophobe. Both games were from the same seller. Xenophobe works fine. Rampage hangs at the title screen. I have cleaned the cartridge twice and tried it on another Lynx system. Same result - game hangs at the title screen.
Has anyone here ever revived a Lynx cartridge with this problem? Please share your method if you did.
