RBG & the J64

Ive just got the RBG monitor cable off e-bay I using a Commodore 2002 monitor :D and its just the best thing, the displays is so clear the resolution looks higher! Its a must have to play all J64 games on! 8) And the guy made a cable for the Atari sc1224 the J64 is have some issues with Atari sc1224 :? So much for wanting to use Atari OEM! :x

Most SC1224 monitors work fine with the jaguar.

With my Jag, (when console is not hooked to the Sony 34") I use the Commodore 1084s monitor, and it works great.

I use the SC1435 in my Kiosk and get incredible resolution so I know what you're talking about. The difference is truly amazing. Enjoy!

Any ideas on where to find the RGB cable for the Jag? I can't seem to find one anywhere, and I generally don't have the time or the patience to create my own.

Anyone know where, in the UK, I can get an edge connector the right length? sounds dumb but neither of the catalogs I have stock them in non-standard sizes).

same for me, so i just take an old floppy ribbon cable with the HE connector and cut it ! ;)

looks weird but it works...

They're almost impossible to find. You usually have to get a bigger one and chop it down. That's almost as much work as getting a Catbox.

No a serious note! I-war dont work on my commodore 2002 RBG monitor any one of you run in to this on your RBG monitors :?

Ive see the Jag_CD boot screen then it just goes black but the sound is going! Ive try another game and it they work just fine :?

Ok Ive took off the Jag_CD now I-war runs just fine with the commodore RBG monitor :?

Put the CD back on and then try it with and without the monitor. You might find that it won't work on anything with the CD inserted.

hummm ok!
Im using the RF out and the Jag_CD Im getting the same thing just a black screen with sound! :? there is a bug In I-war or the Jag_CD :?

I'm not sure. I have heard some people have had this problem with other games. It might be the boot code in the CD drive isn't setting up the video.
