Title says it all. Where are our PMs? I go to my profile but it just flashes a drop-down and then dumps me. Not nearly enough time to select anything...

If you click on the arrow to the right of your name, a drop-down menu should appear. You should then be able to select "Messenger". Also, if you have an unread messages, you can click on the number covering the upper-right corner of your profile photo.

That's what I am saying - if I click on the drop-down arrow, the drop-down takes me to member profile with no chance of selecting anything else. I had some new PMs this morning and I could reach Messenger by clicking the number.

I'm going to add a "Messenger" link (next to "View New Content") today when I have a chance.

If you are using IE9, we found that for now you have to click the "compatibility mode" button on IE's toolbar to keep that drop down from disappearing immediately.

I suspect Invision is going to have a patch for this very soon. It seems to be the Prototype Javascript library causing the problem.

There is a discrepancy for new messages. After I've read them and the box states "Messanger (0 New)" as it should, the little box with the drop-down arrow (just to the right of my user name) still retains it's "unread" count. This value will remain until/unless I mark messages as read manually.

I surf without scripting enabled in IE, so I dunno if that has anything to do with it.

I had PacmanPlus try to send me a PM and it said I was not excepting PMs. Can you even do this. Plus I'm no longer getting pop-up messages telling me I have new PMs. Was this disabled?

Allan
