I've been out of the loop for a while, so I'm more than a little bummed that I missed these auctions. I was a bit surprised how cheap some of these auction ended. A new "real" version of Raiden for $32?! (That was the only one I needed for the collection, other than the Cinci Classic Cyber Virus.) A complete Krazy Ace for under $30, and loose one for under $10?! A T-Tris for $15 and so many of the newer games selling for so cheap ... Man, what a fire sale. I feel bad for the seller, really. And for me. Heh.

But at least I was able to use these auctions to add a few cart styles to the "definitive" Lynx List thread. I didn't know there were different label variations on some of the Telegames games.

If anyone here won the sealed Lynx Casino, I'd be curious to know what that cart looks like. All the rest were opened.

So nice going, everyone! :)

Cheers,
Smeg

i hear you in regards to the prices. i was shocked at a few of them...and then got hosed by some snipers on others ( i reallllllly wanted that Othello). but like i mentioned earlier...i am happy because i got what i really wanted.
The last Cinci Classic Cybervirus I saw for sale was Jan 2010. it went for $300 and something. I got that for a BIG bargain.

as for the Casino game... i won that as well. i bid on it because of the chance of it being a flat cart (black telegames release). and it is a different version than normal. i'll post some pics when I can get a chance. where have you been Smeg?

That was one of them I was after!
I figured out early on that I was missing some of my deals by not using a snipe service. I didn't take that chance with the Cinci Classic Cybervirus and the Casino game....
Although, as it turned out, I didn't need to worry on the Cinci. (Thank God Smeg wasn't looking at that auction!

I dunno... it's all a drunken haze. ;) Actually, I've been putting a lot of effort into college (full time) and selling books (I'm in a new anthology that I helped to edit and proof read, so I'm doing the rounds of book signings, radio interviews, etc) and I guess Facebook has taken up entirely too much time. Coupled with having no money to buy anything for my Atari systems, I guess I didn't want to tempt/depress myself. I still need the last four new Lynx titles, if we're counting Solitaire as being out. But thanks for asking, Eric!

:x :D I probably still would've had to balk at the price. But when I do get on my feet again, at least you won't be competition for the next one. :)

Smeg

Yet I think we are both still gunning for CGE 5th
Even though there are more copies of it around... it is harder to find (or so it seems)

That is true. I'm actually more interested in CGE than I am Cinci Classic. I'm still kicking myself for not buying one back in the day. It took Carl years to finally sell all of his stock. And here we are, willing to fight to pay entirely too much for a slideshow. :D Oh, the collectors in us!
