Hi Everyone!
This is oldjd's wife, Barb, or nannyssewingtreats! Here are the pictures that you have been wanting to see, I hope you like and if so please visit me on eBay at: nannyssewingtreatbarb
I will be putting dustcovers up in different colors and materials, so I hope to hear from you!
I have spoken with Keith Robinson and he has given me his permission and blessing to use the running man logo, so these are official Intellivision logo's!
I also make dustcovers for many of the other classic console's, Atari, Colecovision, Nintendo, Vectrex!
Any questions, please email me through AtariAge and I will respond as quickly as possible!
Thank you all for your interest and hope you enjoy the pictures I have attached!
Barb

P.S. This is an update from an older thread related to these dustcovers. Please look at the pictures to see the new additions! We have moved, mostly unpacked and I am back at my ol' friends....the sewing machines!

These look great - - would you mind providing some idea of pricing and maybe a direct link to your eBay store or listings?

Thanks!

:)

Those look great!

I don't want to bid on them, but I'd buy some if they were offered at a reasonable price.

I am also interested, I searched ebay for your name listed above but did not find anything. Do you have a bulk discount available? If the price is right i would like to buy all covers for the following:

Atari 130xe
Atari 800xl
Atari 1050
Atari xf551

Atari MIO by MG66
Atari SDrive
Also a couple custom covers for other peripherals

Atari 1040ST

Atari 2600
Atari 5200
Atari 7800

Sega Genesis Model 1 sitting on top of sega CD model 1 with 32x add on.
sega Saturn
Sega Dreamcast

Vextrex

NES
SNES
N64
WII

Xbox
Xbox360

PS1
PS2 FAT
PS3 FAT

Intellivision

ColecoVision

Panasonic 3DO FZ1

Probably prefer the black covers.

Best regards

Rob

Indeed, I would be quite interested in (and I should other people would be too) covers for:

Posted Image
Atari 800XL

Posted Image
Atari 130XE

Posted Image
Atari 1050 disk drive

Posted Image
You can see they used to sell covers for these, as in this pic.

Posted Image
Atari 1040ST (same cover would fit a few models that share this form exactly)

Posted Image
Atari SF314 disk drive

But I imagine there would be some interest in this stuff. The game consoles typically tend to be black, which means they don't yellow, and they don't have keyboards to collect dust and yellow, either.

If there were a package deal to buy several covers at once (rather than individual bidding) you might bring in some money at once.

Im going to respond to a few of the questions here for Barb.
Alot of the covers being asked about are just not popular enough to warrant the time and expense that would be needed to put them together.
Now,I told her that when she had requests for the Vectrex covers, but I ate a big ole pile of humble pie, because she decided to try making them, and they have been a huge success.
Now,if you were to want to order ,say 50 covers for an Atari printer, well then its different.
But I have watched how much time and effort she puts into these covers, and (yes Im bragging)they are very ,very nice.
Because she is busy being a wife, mother and Grandma, she cant always get on here to see responses
So,consider me a go between.I will try to answer on available covers, and settting up prices
Thank you to all for your interest
Us old people really appreciate it

I sent a private message when the previous thread was posted last July, and never heard back. And then the thread just kind of died.
I would still like a Vectrex cover if they are still available.

It's too bad that they smell extremely pungent! What was that you used, a dryer sheet perhaps to cover the smell of smoke? I'm happy with the product, but now I can't even go in the room with the VecX much less use the system because I have a sneezing attack around the darn thing. Did every eBay trick I know to get smells out. We froze it, caked it in a rubbermaid with baking soda, and it still smells like funky perfume cleaner. Would have been better to just leave it with smoke (if that was the issue). They are great items, and I want more, but the smell is holding that back. Funky!

Not trying to steal any sales, but I know another source of handmade embroidered Atari covers that are of the same great quality - if anyone wants something NOT on the above list PM me and I'll fill you in.

It was a sheet of fabric softener, that has febreeze.
She had a couple people who said they had allergies to the original fabrics.
So,started adding that to see it would help.
Which apparently did, since never heard anyone having an issue until yours
You might want to try rubbing it down with baby powder.
Or if you do order more, tell her you dont want the "sheets".You can get them Au Natural

Make mine hairy  Don't get me wrong I was stoked by the product. I really want a running man for my INTV III (I picked up at MGC).

I bought a dust cover from this seller..... it was a good price and the quality couldn't be any better BUT, Mine horrifically smells like cigarette smoke. like as in the "pleather" was purchased, sat in a smoke filled house(that has been chain smoked in for 30 years) and then made into a dust cover. I used vinegar and it didn't work. then I put in in the washing machine. that didn't work. I soaked it all night last night in some febreeze and haven't pulled it out yet, but I think that will work. I am still going to leave positive feedback because after reviewing the sellers feedback dozens of people have bought these and no one else complained on there. I just thought I would share my experience on here. the nicotine/tar has attached itself to the fabric. The second I opened the bubble mailer it was like a punch in the face.

I have purchased 4 embroidered dustcovers from this seller (end 2011) and just want to add that, apart from still including a small piece of dryer sheet, there is NO SMOKE SMELL at all.
Reading thru this thread may put some people off from less than satisfied customers, but I must report my 100% satisfaction.
A cover fits the 2600 Heavy Sixer, but it's too tight, so I asked to buy one a little larger.
She now makes Heavy Sixer covers! How cool is that?
Check out eBay or inquire here and order.
(I own 2 Vectrex covers, 1 Atari cover, 1 Atari Heavy Sixer cover)
I'd still like some more when I save some money - Colocovision and Colecovision Expansion Module 1 embroidered covers, Atari 7800 embroidered cover...
