Here is the video of the game, if they make this like sonic colors but improve it and mix different levels from there previous games plus new ones, and add a classic sonic module option I think this will be the best sonic game yet, Plus that would be 2 good games in 2 years. If they pull this off I think they could improve sonic's image, Been awhile since they have had a good game two years in a row

Sorry, being better than Secret Rings doesn't make it good. It was a nice try, but crap. Generations will most likely be crap.

I said sonic colors and I consider anything at a 80 or higher on the metacritic good. Combined with the user score.
are you someone that thinks sonic will never be as good as Mario. Not saying your a fanboy or anything but you seem to dis sonic anytime someone mentions it. Just because a character has had a few bad games does not mean he can't improve. Look at Mario sunshine for instance, that game was shit and they improved afterwords.

No, he just lived and died on the sega genesis, the same as how Link lived and died in two dimensions. Adventure on the DC was alright, not great, and everything after has been worthless to anybody but the most dedicated fans of the character.
I loved the hell out of the first four games, though.

The demo rocked my socks off. I hope the full version comes out soon.

I geeked out when I saw this trailer. Even though classic Sonic looks more lumpy and plushy in 3D. Sonic Colors was surprisingly good. Its not ever going to be my favorite Sonic but it was a fun game.

I'm anxious to see how this turns out, in fact what exactly is it going to be? Also anxious to see Sonic 4 Episode 2. Overall I give thumbs-down to Episode 1 - the change in physics (how Sonic stops dead when you let go of the controller) is a deal-breaker. Hope they modify this in Ep2, since every Sonic fan with a voice has complained about it.

I love Sonic games. This will satisfy me. :) But I will admit, I want a Sonic game like the Sonic Adventure games again, but after Sonic 06, I highly doubt we will see one of those again. I liked Colors, but I'll admit I find myself playing the Dreamcast and GameCube Sonic games more.

Where did you get the demo. The website I went to the download link lead to a page that said it has been removed.

Come to think of it, I think classic Sonic in the trailer still needs to be shorter... Or maybe new Sonic is still way too tall...

Link? As in Legend of Zelda? If you didn't enjoy Ocarina of Time, than that's fine. But to consider it a bad game is a pretty far stretch... In fact, all the Zelda games have been good. That said, none of them have been brilliant since Ocarina.

I don't think it's a bad game, though it certainly doesn't appeal to me. I just think 2D franchises tend to lose a lot of their character when the IP owners try to figure out how to tack an extra dimension on. I don't think Sega's ever figured out exactly what to do with Sonic's extra dimension.

That is true, but Ocarina was not without character. The 3D Zelda games have always been at least good. There's a couple of great ones in my opinion. But alas, my point was that Link did not live and die in 2D, and you definitely can't compare the 3D Zelda games to the 3D Sonic ones...

As for Sonic (in 3d), I liked Adventure 1 and 2. Other than that you are right; mediocre at best.

Ever tried sonic colors, best game since Adventure 1 and 2 according to IGN, plus it was designed by the creator of the adventure series.

All the sonics beyond Adventure blew (IMO) Well, except sonic Advance. That was some sweet 2D goodness. I hear color was good, but by that point I had been burned on so many hideously awful sonic games that they would have had to pay me in order for me to give it a chance. Maybe I will if I find it dirt cheap at a pawn or Game stop some point in the future.
