[Kumimono]

Hello there, new cat person here, recently got me two Lynxes from e-bay, both sold as repair. One is Lynx I, and doesn't stir in any way, the other a Lynx II, which seems to work OK, but has horizontal stripes going through the LCD.



Now, what I've searched and read here, this might not be fixable. Feel free to prove me wrong, though. What I was wondering, are Lynx II and I's LCD's compatible? Could I "harvest" a (possibly) working one from the other, and replace this? Or should I start scouring e-bay for yet another Lynx? (I don't suppose there are any actuall replacement screen available, or screens that could be made compatible with a bit of soldering...)

Any help is appreciated.
