Hello All,

If Zookeeper would have come out on the Atari 2600, what company would have done the release??? I will let you know why I am asking later.

Atari, Chris Omarzu programmed it IIRC.

If a ZooKeeper is in the works Please mark me down as I received a stoning when I suggested the ZooKeeper needed to be revived almost a year or two ago now....

I love ZooKeeper..the ladies call me Mr. Keeper! Except for my mom, she calls me Chris! Jboys mom would call me Mr......Posted Image

I can 100% guarantee you beyond any doubt that it was going to be Atari, and that it would have had the awesome shiny silver smaller Atari logo label for the cartridge. (like millipede, stargate, crystal castles, pengo, gremlins) Reason I know is because it was one of the titles I searched for in vain for many years before realizing that it never made it to store shelves.

REFERENCE: Atari Age March/April 1984 Volume 2 / Number 5 page 13 bottom right hand corner

Atari Age did not cover cartridges made by anyone other then those made by Atari and for Atari.

The article also specifically states that it will be for the 2600 system.

It even mentions Zelda as the name of the Zookeepers damsel in distress...
(I would scan the article and post, but uploading pics is a hassle here since you have to host them yourself)
