OK, to be more presise...

 

Xxl looks for the following graphics:

1. Some loading screen

2. Logo and "Title page"

3. Ingame panel

4. Handle bar (one "good" and one "destroyed" - after hitting something)

5. Rival bikers, Chopper, Tank (can be on with/sprites, too)

6. Explosions

7. Trees

 

All can be done in Graphics 15 (for example). The objects can be similar in dimensions, but we can alvays experiment with other ones.

 

So here's the point.

Well, just to get things started, here is a panel.

 

As my artistic skills aren't great, I do not expect you to use it, but it is there for somebody else to beat (Jose!!! You're better than me at art!!). It'll need conversion from bitmap to Atari files and you'll need to choose the colours.

 

Somebody else will need to add handlebars and hands.

 

Oh, and this is designed for graphics mode 15/12.

Could the standard Atari font be used instead of the Spectrum font? This might save a little space also.

 

By the way, where's Jose when he's needed? Oi, Jose! :)

 

 

Always here but as always trying to get something.

Don't know if XXL wants, but I could get something and almost exactlly like it's now...

From what I see I can get some colouring at the Hands/Arms and Moto.

Just need to know:

1.)- PF1 and PF2... Is it PF1 the Darkest colour and what Luminance?

2.)- Is this using PRIOR0 or PRIOR1

3.)- What PMs. are you using on the Playing Area (is the Hand a Player?)?

4.)- Are you using GR.0 or GR.8?

 

This will not take much time, just need a screen...

what about explosions sprites?

:?

For all the Tings going on screen I would need to know all the Gray and side Lines PMs you're using...

(that side Lines are what? Missiles (what Missiles, 5th Player?)

 

 

What PMs free to use you have at the Hands zone?

 

And the Hand dark colour is PF1 or PF2?

(dark zones day andd night are what Luminances?)

Ground/two grays Top and Bottom parts of the Trees (one of these parts of the Trees have to be PMs, right?

 

Just thinking: 4players quadruple width are 32wide.

And the Missiles as 5th Player PF3 are the sides Lines?

If it is doing this way there no more Players available...

And if one of the grays are the Players then this gray is Overlaying PF2 and this is saying that that the Ground must be PF1 to Mask/use PF1 Luminance...

 

I think I am not far away from what it's there, right?

Just saw the video again and it this, almost sure:

PF1: Ground/Sky colour

PF2: The darkest colour

 

Players are the Top of the Trees.

If you see carefully the Motos and tanks never go over the Trees Top.

Because PF2 it's the darkest colour it is where you have Players colours, even if the Enemys go here they will go behind.

 

But this waste all the four Players for all screen wide underlay, or not?

It's just because I don't see what you can do better at the explosions if there aren't more Players to use...

for explosion M0,M1 bikes/tanks P0,P1,P2 but I'm not convinced to use PM/G for that.

But that sides coloured Lines are what?

And the third gray on the Line?

 

Don't want to get into your work but this is making me thinking, thinking and now you're saying that M2,M3 and P3 are used?
