I know that the 5200 joystick have a key pad in it but if the games can be recoded to take inupt for the video touch pad on game port 2 and use the 7800 joystick in game port 1 just an idea. Just like what atari did for star rasiders for the 2600!

I was just thinking can 5200 games be ported to the 7800

It would not be an easy conversion since the 7800 uses a radically different video system from the 5200, so all the video code would have to be re-written. Also the controllers are different, and the sound chip is different, so you would basically have to re-write everything but the game logic.

That's too bad, as you could play a decent version of Pac-Man.
