The enemy has built battle fortresses in the farthest reaches of space. There's only one way in... and one way out. Your Mission: Infiltrate the enemy's defenses and destroy their motherships!

Deadline for high scores is May 12, 2011. Start on the default difficulty, do not use continues.

To access the 2D mode for those on emulation or SMS2's, press pause on the title screen, then select 2D mode from the menu that appears and good luck! ~ zylon

at the opening of each stage, watch for the crosshair to get yourself on the right plane for shooting the enemies AND collecting the power up capsules

shooting uses fuel! make your shots count and refrain from shooting rapidly and frequently

the red part is the week point of the bosses - shoot the core! ~ Sonic R

whoa… I'm a bit rusty - but I'm remember how much I enjoy this game - well except the first parts of the stage

I've never, ever yet made it long enough for fuel to become an issue.

I just shoot fast and often. Sometimes I get a fuel alarm on 4th stage.
