VectorGamer
Memorial Day Tournament: CAGDC 2010 This will be a 10 game tournament consisting of 10 games from the 2010 CAGDC Tournament. Voting process This is simple - select 10 games from the tournament. Games will be added to the tournament based on the total number of votes beginning highest to lowest. Voting tiebreakers: If a game has not been played previously in the history of the AtariAge Arcade/MAME HSC, that game will be chosen. If there are multiple titles that have been played previously in the history of the AtariAge Arcade/MAME HSC, then the most recently played title will be considered* (see below) for play in the Flag Day Craptacular[/b]. * A maximum of three games will be added to the Flag Day Craptacular in June. These are the considerations: Titles must have multiple votes Games that have never been played in the history of the HSC will be added first based on vote count highest to lowest. If there are any ties in the voting results (provided that there are more than three eligible), there will be a vote amongst those titles. If there are more than three titles still eligible, then the most recently played titles in the HSC will be discarded and the earliest title played added. If ten games have not been selected within one week of the tournament start date (when polls are closed), games will be selected in the following order: HSC Season 2 Champion (roadrunner) HSC Season 3 Standings as of one week from tournament start date from highest to lowest by only those that have cast votes In case of a "wrap around," the selections will return back to the top of the current season standings No games will be added to the player's game request queue since selections are restricted to a pool of titles. If there are any questions on the selection process, please post in this thread and I will add clarification where needed. Competition begins Sunday, May 22 @ noon EDT and ends Monday, June 6 @ 3AM EDT CAGDC tourney games ineligible for selection Donkey Kong II (no MAME ROM) Hyper Sports (controller issue)* Track & Field (controller issue)* *If there is a consensus to the contrary, then these games will be eligible for vote in the Craptacular Games in this Tournament: Missile Command (7 votes) Gyruss (6 votes) Popeye (6 votes) Zaxxon (6 votes) Bosconian (5 votes) Crystal Castles (5 votes) Elevator Action (5 votes) Mario Bros.
