BWA HA HA HA! And it only took a couple months!

After much toying around, and a switch to a different computer, I have somehow gotten MESS to work! I've been playing Double Dragon all night! Some of the games don't work right, and I get no soundtrack with Commando, but it's all good!

congrats, it's not the easiest emulator to get working but once you do it's very fun to change from Atari 8 bit to Coleco to 7800 all in one place :D

On the 7800 MESS, I mostly play Ninja Golf and Mean18, and I've learned every golf game needs ninjas.

Yes... MESS is wonderful, it's just a little hard for us less-computer-literate folks to get it going...

Cheers!

I love that Ninja Golf title screen. Little ninja jumping in the air with the golf club as a sword.

Double Dragon has (obviously) gotten the most play, Commando is great, too. Bit disappointed that Ikari Warriors won't work.

Some of these games are knockouts, the 7800 truly rivaled the NES. You don't get the same experience just looking at screenshots. 7800 Xenophobe DESTROYS NES Xenophobe.

If you don't get the soundtrack in Commando then you probably have the old version. When I first released it I forgot to set the bit for Pokey sound. (whoops) This has since been corrected, if you download the one from my site it will have the background sound. I believe AtariAge has the updated version as well.

Wow!

I've never played and "heard" Commando in all its glory - what a great playing and great sounding game!

Now I'm really kicking myself for choosing Xenophobe over Commando when I was on holidays in LA back in grade 9...

Cheers!

Only for rarity, both are exceptional games.
