This hurts my heart to watch the abuse, but is still kinda cool. :) Thanks to Mathias from Retrode for turning me onto the video!

10 hours of setup+2 minutes domino falldown=pretty damn awesome! :)

The fact they were stepping on the carts on the way up the steps knocked 'em down to just pretty damn good. I think I heard a cart crack. :(

That is an impressive number of cartridges. I collect for all systems and do not have even 1/4 of that amount. Plus, factor that they cannot use shorter carts like SNES, Genesis, N64 and SMS because of CG issues. Maybe this is a dealer using his store stock?

WOW, must be at least 500+ cartridges. Very impressive.

CG issues? I see literally a hundred SNES carts in a huge ass line of columns towards the middle of the video.

Take a look again. 500 is not even close. Try 3,000 - 4,000. They go upstairs to another room full besides what is on the ground floor.

You're wrong. I can clearly see SNES carts in there and probably Genesis too.

That was fun. You can hear the N64 carts (they sound different), and I saw Genesis carts there. Those at the very beginning on the table looked like Astrocade carts. I saw quite a variety. Didn't notice any game boy, though.

There's Game Boy (and probably Game Gear) carts on the stairs.

It has to be more, I've got about 4,000 - 5,000 games in my collection. If I had to guess 10k - 15k. After the 10 hour set up, that would be my next question, how many. I did see lots of sports and repeats in there. It has to be store inventory or a hoarder, I can't imagine having that many dupes.

Nope, not a store or hoarder. It's the guys from ConsoleClassix.com -- they're an "online rental' operation. They have a few other videos and a blog to explain how many games they have, etc.

But basically, they sign you up for $5.99 a month, and you have access to their cartridges via their client software and emulation on your computer. What keeps them legal is that while you are 'downloading' the rom technically, it's only a temp file and deletes when you close the client, and they keep a 1:1 ratio of roms available to cartridges physically owned.

What does that mean? It means if they physically have 5 Super Mario Bros. (NES) cartridges, then only 5 users can play the game at one time. If 5 users are already playing, then you have to wait for one of them to be done. Pretty cool way to try different games legally... If you can handle Emulation. :) :)

So it is an inventory. Very interesting.
