Ok Gothic IV is Arcania Gothic IV and you're in luck, I've been playing it recently.
I will say this about it, it's a lot like Two Worlds!!! (From what I recall it's been awhile since I've played TW
The voice acting is better, I think maybe the characters look a bit better, although I have to tell you women in this game are bugly. Decent bods, but ewww a face only her mama could love. You see what I mean right from the start.
Anyways.
The game chugs along, maybe a bit smoother than TW, but man are there jaggies, and things like bushes and grasses just kind of disappear when you get near them. Lots of bugs too, talked to a guy out on the road and it transported me back to the town I had just left when I got done talking to him. I guess maybe that's where he was walking too and I got caught up in it. I dunno. Made me back track. I've killed creatures and had their corpses float in the air, almost always when you kill a creature you can still hear it for a few seconds, like a fly buzzing like it's still alive and flying...but it's dead. Goofy stuff like that. So far I haven't gotten stuck anywhere or fallen through the world or anything. No game ending bugs.
Lots of decent questing. Lots of places to explore. Like Two Worlds it has a main map for above ground, and a main map for below ground. Although some of these quests seem like they are going to be hard. Like find 30 forgotten graves, or find 30 artifacts. Thing is, there doesn't seem to be a way to discover them, other that just finding them laying around! Like an artifact sitting on a rock in the middle of no where! A lump of dirt in the middle of the woods is a grave. There are little butterflies that hover around stuff like that a lot of time, so I guess that is a clue. Just have to scour the country side I guess. I know I'm going to hate it when I'm almost done with the main quest, been everywhere and still have like 27/30 graves.
This game has lots of cool creatures, items, crafting, spells, it is rough around the edges for sure, but so far I'm having a really fun time with it in spite of it's glitches. I think if you've played and enjoyed Two Worlds, you'll probably get a kick out of Gothic IV.
